Lobivia wrightiana 4/12/22
This is an interesting species. The plant is in a cell about 1" on a side. The flower is HUGE compared to the plant. I have three mature plants which were a gift of Kathy McCoy. They had flowers about the size of that you see here. But the plants ranged from baseball to softball sized. One of the failings of the cactus god is that the flowers don't seem to get much bigger as the plant gets bigger. (07/40)
