I have finally figured out this species's flowering schedule. It's actually a night bloomer, opening about midnight and closing in early afternoon following. The reason I've been so frustrated in my descriptions of this species's flowering for so many years past is that I expected a normal day-flowering schedule, and this species wouldn't follow my expectations. I have to learn to listen to my plants. (083/112)
