Echinocereus rigidissimus SNL142 6/16/21
This is the species commonly called the "Arizona rainbow cactus." It's widespread in southern Arizona and southern New Mexico. The "rainbow" refers to the multicolored spines of various patterns, partially obscured by the flowers in this picture. The pot is 5.5" (14 cm) in diameter. (24/48)
