Trichocereus (I think; probably a hybrid)     5/15/20
I have no idea where this came from. I've never seen it before this year. I wish I knew because so rich a flower in so small a plant is worth propagating. The pot is 2.5" (6 cm). I tried pollinating the flower with anything available on May 15, but, no luck. The flowers fell off without forming fruit. The two buds you see developed over time and the resulting flowers opened last night. I took their picture today. I again hit the flowers with any available pollen, this time Trichocereus pollen. I hope something good happens. If I can get seeds I can further mess with the germplasm.   (42/56)
