Lobivia hybrid     5/12/19
This plant has a story. Someone gave me the parent many years ago. When I moved to Los Alamos in 2003, this parent had four flushes of magenta flowers over the following summer. I don't think it ever flowered in Washington State, where I used to live. Not enough light there, I think. I crossed this parent with anything that was flowering over the years, and sometimes seed was made. I was hoping to make more summer-long flowering plants. Maybe I've succeeded. The original parent has vanished from my herd. The pot is 2.5" (6 cm) on a side.   (05/88)
