Astrophytum capricorne niveum MG55.5 7/11/18
This is supposedly the subspecies "niveum" meaning snow, for the white flocking. I can't see how this subspecies is more "niveum" than the species. In any case, I'm going to try them outside this winter. Leo Chance claims they survive winters in Colorado Springs, a much colder lie than White Rock NM. (16/40)
