Cranes     2/10/16
A strange story. In the last several years, the cranes over my head have been flying higher and higher. I now have a 2,000 mm lens (I buy them for the cranes), but the cranes to the naked eye are now about a pin-head, essentially invisible. But they scream as they fly, so I start looking. I racked out the lens to 2,000 mm and caught some of them, now far far above my house in White Rock NM. In past years I could have almost hit them with a rock, very powerfully thrown.   (06/30)
