Opuntia aurea; stamens relaxed
I’ve mentioned tactile stamens several times over the years. It occurred to me that this term means nothing if you don’t look at plants intensively. The stamens are the stringy yellow things surrounding the pistil. I next touched the stamens with a soft paintbrush. (35/40)
