Copiapoa sp.
I've wondered for years why I can spot a copiapoa without fail, and it suddenly came to me. The stamens appear to be randomly scattered across most of the flower. If you look at the pattern of the stamens on all other flowers, they are quite localized, typically a ring, or maybe two sets of rings in Echinopsis/Lobivia/Trichocereus. But in Copiapoa sp. there is this splatter of yellow points filling the flower.   (21/32)
